Welcome Fall!
F all is upon us and the gorgeous foliage it brings with it is turning up everywhere. Nothing is more welcoming than an front entry
layered with the rich colors and textures of autumn, so we have pulled together some cost effective ways to give your home curb appeal. Change out those summer hues for deeper, earthier tones. If you have rocking chairs or a porch swing look for pillows that remind you of the turning leaves: browns, crimson, oranges in heavy fabrics with tons of texture like burlap. Next, trade your daisies for something like mums that will thrive in the cooler autumn weather. Arrange varying sized pumpkins on either side of your front door or up the stairs; this makes a beautiful vignette for your entry. Of course, traditionally, pumpkins are orange but don't be afraid to add a little paint or glitter to spice them up a bit! Last, but definitely not least, don't forget a rustic wreath to complete the look. Your guests will be so warmly welcomed that you'll have a hard time getting them off the front porch to show them what you've done to the inside! Welcome Fall! An important note: If your home is on the market, remember not to clutter with decor or be too specific with taste. Staging still applies, even when it comes to holidays.

Centered
The start of Fall means the beginning of the holiday season and the begining of family gatherings galore! We've found a great DIY idea for a rustic centerpiece that will wow each and every guest that gathers around the family table. This centerpiece doesn't even require a glue gun! Simply gather the pieces and viola!
Things you'll need:
-wooden, rectangular box (huge selection of styles at Hobby Lobby)
-various small gourds/pumpkins (probably about 10)
-pillar candles
-seasonal garland (found at any craft stores)
Simply arrange the items inside the box and you're done! You can even place a few of the gourds around the outside of the box on the table. When it's time for dinner light the candles and take in the compliments.
